Yajeed made himself Khalifa
After nearly 50 years of Muhammad Saheb's Wafaat (persecution from the world), there was a time of atrocious torture in the Islamic world. Far from Mecca, Syrian Governor Yazid declared himself Khalifa. The method of Yajid was like the emperors. Then Islam was not accustomed to it. In Islam, there is no imagination of Rajshahi. Allah is considered the only 'King' of the earth. Imam Hussein, the grandson of Prophet Mohammed, sitting in Mecca, refused to accept Yazid as Caliph.

As soon as he came to power, Yajid wrote to Madina's governor Valid son Atu, "Do you call Imam Hussein to follow my order and bring the principles of Islam to the attention. If he does not accept it, then cut the head of Imam Hussein and send it to me.

Valid son Atuva called Hazrat Imam Hussain at Raj Bhavan on the night of 25 or 26 Rajab 60 hijri in the night. He told them the order of Yazid. Imam Hussain said to Walid, "I can not follow the commands of Yajid who do not believe in an adulterous, corrupt and insincere Rasool."

After this, Imam Hussain reached Mecca Sharif so that Hajj could complete the journey. But there too Imam Hussain Sahib was not allowed to rest. Yazid sent his soldiers to make Hussein a passenger.

Imam Hussain came to know that Yazid sent soldiers to kill him. Mecca is such a holy place, where any kind of murder is haram. This is a principle of Islam.

Considering that there is no blood clot in Mecca, Hussein paid a sub-tradition of Hajj, which is called Islamically Umraara. Hazrat Hussain then went to Iraq with his family.

Muharram reached the Karbala along with his family and friends. He kept telling the army of Yazid to the 9th day about Islamic principles, but his words did not affect the army.

When he did not believe, then Imam Hussein said, "Give me a night's respite, so that I may worship Allah. Yazid's forces gave Hussein a night's delay. That night is called 'Asur's Night'.

Hazrat Imam Hussein Sahib worshiped Allah all night with his family and companions. On the 10th day of Muharram, the commander of Yazid, Omar Bin Saad, left an arrow saying, "I have run the arrow first." Then the battle started.

Hussein told the soldiers of Yazid that give the child a little water. But in return, an arrow came from the side of the army and on the child's throat. The child lost his temper in the hands of the father.
